The Rock Creek Community Medical Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce that we are expecting the arrival of two Nurse Practitioners in approximately three weeks.
The clinic staff and practitioners will be working through a transition period, and we anticipate being fully operational towards the end of November.

Most of us have keenly felt the absence of adequate health care services with the loss of our two Nurse Practitioners.
You need worry no longer.
Two Nurse Practitioners have consented to move to our community and accept the 1.5 positions that had been filled by Celia and Niki. These Nurse Practitioners are highly qualified, both with Master degrees, Nurse Practitioner qualification, and numerous additional complimentary certificates in specialized skills (besides having considerable relevant experience). Both are very pleased to accept these positions as they have family roots in the Kootenay Boundary.
There will be a slight delay before our Health Center is back up to speed as replacements must be found for their current positions in the Lower Mainland, but one will be commencing work here October 24 and the other not long after.
In the interim, many needs are being met by online appointments being facilitated at the Health Center.
